Got these boots to replace my Katahdin boots from a couple years ago. I work in a shop with reinforced concrete floors and it isn’t uncommon to be standing and walking around for 12 hours a day. The sole on these boots are perfect for this. The outer section provides traction and the dense foam like center makes them comfortable all day long.
After a month of everyday use they’ve seen rain, mud, snow and general dust from around the shop. They hold up well and stay dry. Because they don’t have too deep of treads they clean up easy as well
Highly recommend over a solid rubber sole if standing on concrete all day. Your feet will thank you!

When I ordered, this boot was on backorder which I didn’t mind. It makes sense though: one of the most comfortable boots I’ve ever worn. They feel like sneakers. Not at all surprised they’re popular. They actually were delivered a few weeks earlier than expected which I appreciate.

We got these for my husband. We have a ranch and his boots take a serious beating and so do his feet. He had been complaining about how much his feet hurt and how difficult that made walking when the LL Bean catalog came. I flipped open to the page of men’s boots and saw these. I have had excellent experiences with everything I’ve ever purchased from Bean, including women’s boots, and urged him to get these. He had to wait a few weeks to get them because they were backordered (he wears a size 10-1/2). Still, they came sooner than expected. He took them out of the box, put them on and went out to do chores. Voila, no more complaints. He wears the boots all day every day and they barely show any wear.

I essentially wear a size 12.5, and my feet are a little wide, so it’s difficult to find shoes that fit properly. These slid on perfect, and are very comfortable! The craftsmanship is excellent, and the leather is nice, as well. Would buy again.

This boot is in the exact right size for my husband’s foot. It is hard to find a men’s size 7 in a wide. It fits him perfectly, and he wears them every day to work. They also look great! I’m a fan. I hope you don’t ever discontinue them.

Fit is the same as my Air Monarchs. I wear a 10.5 wide.Took a 2 mile walk when I first got them and that’s all it took to break them in. These are not water resistant. A few steps in ankle deep snow and my feet were damp. I gave them a water repellent treatment and all is good. Very comfortable and the best value in a moc toe in my opinion. I highly recommend these.

Zappos send this version of women’s boots were sent instead of the Men’s version. So the size 8 “men’s” as we thought we ordered, were way too small.

Very comfortable and can be used as a boat shoe. Sole is soft and has no grooves to track debris into house or boat. Good choice for comfort on concrete or other hard floors. But this is not a good choice where mud, snow and sharp rocks are abundant and maximum traction and under foot protection is expected.

Very good boot and works well for me after I upgraded the insole to an orthotic which took up some room. Being a narrow foot, I have a difficult time finding shoes to fit properly. Bean only has a few shoes available in Mens Narrow. While the heel in this is a bit wider than I like, being a mid lace up it stays on my size 14 foot well enough.

Quality was better than I expected . These boots were comfortable and fit very well as soon as I put them on. I’ve been in snow and wet winter weather and my feet stay warm and dry! I would buy them again.

Nice thick tongue and rope laces make for easy on and off. I tried them with a variety of socks; from regular crew to ultra-thick ski socks. They were most comfortable with heavyweight work socks. I would definitely buy these bad boys again!

I purchased this boot in black about 2 months ago. I really like the fit, the construction, and the look of the boot. The only thing that I suggest is to replace the insole with a better insole. I have a go to insole and it really made a big difference

This is the second pair of Stonington Boots I have bought from LLBean and they are great! They fit right and are very comfortable to wear and work in. The sole is soft and will not mark a floor or boat deck. I have worn these boots every day except for heavy rain days and they have lasted for almost 2 years before I bought another pair exactly like the first pair.
