Loving this shirt so far. Fit is similar to the 1933 chamois. Fabric is lighter in weight. Material feels great, the slub gives a unique look. It’s handled 2 washes so far. Seems like it’ll hold up.

Not exactly what I expected, the material is thinner and shows wrinkles. The mushroom color is not as rich as the catalog makes it out. Sits a little shorter than his other fav LLBean flannel shirts. Hubby kept it, but not my favorite Bean shirt.

Love the woven feel; good weight of fabric; love the flecks; love how it doesn’t have to be tucked in, fits well. I’m picky but going to buy another of these.

I like this shirt a lot. However, for a men’s medium the sleeves were oddly long. Never have had that happen before. I am going to keep this shirt but I’ll have to wear it with the sleeves rolled up

This is my favorite Bean shirt yet. High quality construction, soft but substantial fabric. Great in the tall fit. Already bought it in 2 colors
MidRod –
A really nice looking shirt. I liked the relaxed drape of the shirt. It’s made to wear untuked, which I like. I am 5′ 9″ and 160 lbs. and the shirt fits great…except for the long sleeve length. This would not be a problem if it had two button options on the sleeve. I will have to have a the button removed and placed to make the cuff fit snug to my wrist.

LOVE SOLID COLOR SHIRTS, WISH HAD MORE CHOICE COLORS

This would be a very nice shirt if not for the sleeve cuffs. There is only 1 button on the cuff and it is located at the very edge. As a result the cuff hangs down to the base of my fingers. Ridiculous. The only way I could have worn it would have been to flip the cuffs over, which would make it look like an ill-fitting shirt, which it is. In buying shirts for over 50 years I have never seen a shirt sold in S-M-L-XL sizes come with only 1 cuff button. Single cuff buttons are for “Neck x Sleeve” tailored shirts, not S-M-L-XL shirts.

I’ve been looking for a not-too-light button down in my size (5’9″, 145 lbs), but have been unable to find any that fit my arms right. This fits me pretty well. I wear a size small. I do have slightly longer arms and a wider chest for my size so the fit might not be the best for everyone.

Solid shirt, the olive color looks so much better in person. Bought in store and I told my girl after I saw it online that I probably wouldn’t have picked that out for myself from the photos online. Truely a sharp looking casual shirt.

Shirt is true to size. Comfortable alternative to flannel shirt. Usable pocket. Great to wear tucked in or outside pants.

I bought this a week ago and it’s been a huge disappointment. First, the good:
The fabric is soft right out of the package.
The style is what I was looking for.
But now, the bad:
1. It shrank a TON in the wash. I bought a medium, like I always do. But I should’ve bought a large or maybe an XL because it’s basically unwearable now. And because it’s been through the wash, it’s now not returnable. Yikes.
2. I don’t think you could design a shirt to be any more wrinkle-prone.
Overall, a bad purchase by me, but poor design and quality control by LL Bean.

Nice shirt – a new favorite, for all seasons. Great for work or casual.

Fits well and fabric seems to be good quality. Color is excellent.

Great quality and size accuracy. No shrinkage either. Worth the money. Looks good too!
Psoutham –
Nice shirt, fits well. Some weird color bits woven in. Darker than expected based on the online catalog

A really nice..comfortable shirt. Looks classy without being to formal. The cloth is amazing!
