I waffled between purchasing the L vs XL. I went with the L, and I’m glad I did. The fit of the garment is on the looser side, not form fitting but not unflatteringly baggy either. The material is very soft; it’s thick without being too hot or bulky.
For reference, I wear a size 14 pants, size L shirt, bra size 38C, and have broad shoulders. The Large fit with space to zip in all areas. I could wear a long sleeve shirt or light pullover; I think it would become too tight if I layered with a thick sweater underneath.

Weird bulky excess fabric around the belly. Tight around the shoulders. Seems fit to a pregnant woman, or someone who is smuggling a frozen turkey from the grocery store.
Otherwise super soft, quality fabric. Nice fitted cuffs and thick material.

I was very disappointed with the style……the zipper does not open at the bottom and you have to put the hoodie on over your head. It was not advertised like this and there was no way of knowing .

I bought this lightweight jacket for a present from me-to me. It is a bit pricey but I deserve it-right? Well the material is thick and the colors are vibrant. There is a nice leather tab on the….. PLASTIC zipper!!! Oh boy. What a disappointment. Had I known the zipper was plastic, I would not have purchased this item and with a price tag of $70.00 that is a hard pass. So, buyer beware. LLBean had me up to the zipper. I hope they read this review and stop production on the plastic zipper line and remake it with a nice YKK zipper. A metal zipper is something loyal LLBean customers would expect. Fix this, and I may purchase another in a different color.

I loved the colors of this jacket. It is soft and warm. I definitely had to get a tall size. In other brands, I usually don’t need to get a tall at 5’8″. In jackets I usually wear a large but a medium fit well with plenty of room to wear a sweater underneath. Reading other reviews helped me figure out sizing since this was my first purchase. I would definitely recommend this jacket!

Just received the Washed Buchanan and the colors are gorgeous — orange, light green, light blue, yellow. It is better in person than the picture shows. This is my second purchase, I have the red plaid also, had to get another. For reference, I’m 5’6″ 155 lbs, and the medium fits perfect. Can wear a tee shirt or light weight long sleeve underneath comfortably. Perfect weight for both indoor and outdoor. I wear all the time, so much that I needed another color.

Great quality flannel. Well stitched and bonded at the bottom. Nice relax fit and love the style with the hoodie. This is not cheap flimsy flannel, instead not too thick, at the same time not too thin. It is a perfect spring, summer, and fall jacket. Layers nicely. Would love to buy more if I had the money. All in all very good purchase and very happy with the quality.

Beautifully made – not a pucker in the seams, not even after laundering. The very pleasant surprise was the two capacious pockets inside the hoodie, in addition to the outer pockets. They are enormous! This hoodie can carry everything you need and more.

I got this top in the lighter plaid. It’s just warm enough, great for layering on our tour of the Southwest, Pockets on the outside and inside, so easy to carry odds and ends. Love it!

This is the perfect spring or summer hoodie. It is perfect with blue jeans. It’s construction is high quality. The stripes match at the seams. The zipper has a beautiful large leather tab that is easy to zip.
