i’ve had a pair of Bean duck boots since the mid 80’s & they’re still awesome. wanted a pair of shoes i could kick on & off quickly for mud season and rainy days. order boots per Bean’s advice. i normally wear a women’s size 11 and i am a size 10 in duck boots – PLENTY of room ! you’ll be happy with this purchase & i’m really happy these boots are crafted in MAINE USA.

Easy slip on to get the pups out quickly in spring muddy season, main reason for my selection. Good grip on wet and dry rocks. Normally I am a size 8 and as recomended, I sized down to 7 for good fit with light to medium socks. The length and width evaluation is based on downsizing from 8 to 7. Not alot of cushioning on sole or sides, and would not want to go for long walks, might be more comfortable with heavier socks and less downsizing. Appear well made and sturdy.

I usually wear a size 11 in women. These are size 9 1/2 and still feel somewhat loose in back heel area, but snug at toes. Not the most confutable shoe I own.

Bought these to wear on rainy days and I love them. I purchased L.L.Bean’s wool socks that was recommended for a perfect fit. I went into L.L. Bean to try them on vs ordering online because I wanted to get the correct size.

These are fantastic! Not only have they been worn a lot during the rainy spring days, but they are quick to put on when I need to take the dog out for just a few minutes. Great color selection, and I needed to size down 1.5 sizes (instead on one size as I do with the original Bean boots). Very comfy padded sole as well!

These are the most comfortable gorgeous boots to wear. Order one to one and a half sizes smaller like the previous reviewer recommended. They are easy to put on and take off also. Great for rain and just wearing inside with socks as firm and comfy slippers. Good support. Slightly loose but amazingly comfortable. I wear 9 1/2 and ordered 8.

This is my second pair of beans gum shoes and I love them and wear them everywhere! The other day I forgot my sneakers and even wore them on the Pickleball court! Note to buyers! I generally wear a size 10 and I ordered a size 8 and they fit perfectly! I hope you read these reviews because that simply seems to be a common complaint.

I am going to rate that they are true to size for a size 7. I am a size 8 and I always wear a size 8, I don’t know why I sized down after reading reviews. When wearing socks, the size 7 were too small. I am not sure the difference, but these had a nice LL Bean contoured footbed vs the other pair I ordered.

Overall great but too big, I’m sizing 1.5 sizes down…I’m a 9.5/10 in moat shoes but apparently an 8 here!

Absolutely love these. The leather laces will stretch out with use so be ready for that. They’re not super warm now that the cold has hit, but I can wear double socks and they still fit!
