These are the legendary mocs based on the legendary Bean Boots. I bought the traditional “gum” color. What else need to be said? The removable/replaceable insole has been beefed up and improved, so that’s good. There’s enough room for a pair of wooly winter socks. The price has gone way up over the years, but prices for everything have gone way up!

The Moc is great. A must have. Be careful with sizing. I measure at 101/2 but had to get a 9w(EE) for the perfect fit. Even the 9 was a bit roomy.

Had to reorder to get the correct size but now, so good to have a new pair of bean boots. Fit perfectly.

The reviewers in March 2024 all make good points. The boots are a little loose in the heel even when worn with thick socks. Just don’t expect to climb a mountain in them. Stick to slogging around in the street, the yard, or a field. They are very comfortable, functional, practical for light duty walking/working. The updated footbed allows for more control to help compensate for the loose fit. But do heed the sizing recommendations. Order a full size down, and get yourself some soft, heavy socks. The materials and the construction? : Superb and classically keeping with the Bean legacy.

Sizes run very large. You have to buy at least 2 sizes down, per my experience

Followed the instructions and ordered one size down as the website states. I am usually a 9.5 so I ordered an 8.5 and they are at least 2 sizes too large.

Great idea and I have bought them twice before; however, having lived with this model for 20 + years, it needs to be redesigned.
It’s too heavy and too clunky. Totally overbuilt for the purpose intended. It should be based on Bean’s original Maine boot, featuring a much lighter rubber shoe and sole. It would then be an ideal wet environment moc you could slip on and feel the earth beneath your feet..

Great quality long lasting. As others have mentioned sizing is an issue. I needed 2 sizes smaller than normal shoe size. Best to try-on if possible before purchasing.

Sizing is weird. I almost always need 9.
For this crazy shoe I’m wearing 7.5!!! A 7 might have worked better.

Does not fit, though tried larger and smaller sizes at a store before buying online. Heels lift out of shoe no matter what fix attempted. Lacing makes no sense.
