I’ve seen a lot of comments about how wrinkled these linen shirts are after washing and I can understand why people would say that because linen is a durable fabric that wears beautifully. What I have discovered that seems to minimize the wrinkling is to add fabric softener during the rinse cycle, place in the dryer on low heat for about about 8 – 10 minutes and hang to dry. When i do this, my linen shirts are noticeably softer and less wrinkled.

Great shirt!! Looks great over a tank top, and with chinos, shorts, or jeans. Bought it for an upcoming vacation to Maine, but it’s so versatile, I’ve worn it a few times already.

Nice material for linen lovers in a shirt that fits well and isn’t too huge. This isn’t a summer “big shirt” and I didn’t want it to be. Perfect for summer work attire as well as casual. I always go up a size for LL Bean clothing and this worked perfectly for me.

When I put these in the shopping bag, I had zero doubt. I knew I’d love this shirt. Then I got it and tried it on. Major frump factor. I got the petite small, and it was like a beautiful blue … box. This has so much potential, and maybe if you’re tall and willowy it could work, but still, it seems like it’s a bit shapeless. Even an asymmetrical hem could have helped. Something. I hope this gets a revamp for next year.

Very pretty color and good fit (size Medium) although I would have liked it to be slightly shorter. Haven’t washed yet but expect it will be OK based on previous experience w/ Bean linen. It’s a good wardrobe addition to have handy for overly-cool air conditioning in summer or for a cooler day. Would recommend this.

I bought this linen shirt in an indigo and white stripe which I love. I wore shirts like this in the 70’s loved it then, love it now! The fabric before washing was a little scratchy but fine after wash.

this was a beautiful linen shirt. But I had bought the dark blue one also and thought the dark blue was dressier so I sent this one back. The length was great, sleave length was perfect. The one I kept washes up very nice. Actually, I’m a little sorry I sent it back. 🙂
