I like this jacket and it is warm, but getting it on is at times a struggle. The sleeves make it difficult to get on over a long sleeve shirt, and I haven’t tried it with a sweater. I wind up with the sleeves of the t-shirt up over my elbows, and it is difficult to get them down. Maybe this is due to the size being a 3x? I am going to try and fix it myself so that I can wear it more often and more comfortably.

Well made but runs snug. I am 5’6″ about 155 and usually buy medium. I went with large to layer a sweater under it but even a large was too tight. Otherwise it was well made.

Coat was too tight in the hips. I have the jacket, in the same size, and it fits well. Returned the coat.

I had my eye on this fleece jacket for some time and finally ordered one when it was on sale and I had some Bean Bucks to use. After reading reviews I went up a size and ordered a PM. It fits perfectly, not too snug, sleeve length and length of jacket are perfect. I’ve only worn it once as it got very cold here, hoping for some warmer days. I don’t think it would be good for anything below 40 degrees. I also can’t comment on other reviews that said that it pilled as I have only worn it once. Love the blue color, too. I’m 5’3″ and bought the regular so the bottom falls mid-thigh, covering my butt which is exactly what I wanted. The sleeves are a bit long but it works out because my hands are always cold anyway. The coat is not lined but it’s still warm and cozy and keeps the wind out better than you’d expect. The pewter color is as pictured.

I love this sweater jacket! I normally wear a petite M in LLBean, but I sized up to petite L for this so I could wear it over sweaters, sweatshirts, etc. Since it is flocked on the inside, it would otherwise have been too difficult to get on and off. It it warm without being overheating; great for Virginia weather. I even wore it in the drizzle and it dried right up. The reversible zipper is key for driving and walking since this is a longer jacket; the hood is very functional. I got the light gray color and love it.

I love this sweatshirt jacket. I have just purchased my second jacket. It is light weight, wash and wear and has become my everyday jacket! Looks great with jeans and t-shirts! Did I say I love it!

I LOVE this sweater fleece coat! This is the second one I have bought (different colors)! It is so practical and versatile. I love that it extends just past the hips so it covers any shirt I am wearing and makes me that much warmer. I’ve gotten compliments when I’ve worn it and it washes well in the machine on gentle, hang to dry! Perfect!

This sweater jacket is great. It’s long enough to cover my backside but not too long that it’s uncomfortable to sit on in the car. Great sleeve length for my long arms. I was a bit worried because it wasn’t available in tall, which I typically order because of my long arms. This is perfect with a little extra length to spare. The inside material is soft, very comfortable. It’s a great piece for the spring and fall seasons or a cool summer night.

I was afraid that the black would attract my dog’s fur and I would constantly be picking it off, but it’s a smooth fabric and it brushes off easily. It’s a great item and a great price when on sale. Love the length also!

A good quality, light but warm jacket. Can be worn as a jacket or as an extra layer under a puffer. However, it’s worth mentioning that the sizing is generous. I am 5.1 ft and 127lb, bought size M. I can fit a shirt and a thick sweater under with still plenty of room left. I should have gone for size S and that would have been a perfect fit that would still allow for several thinner layers under.

Warm and just enough for mild winters. I ordered the petite XS and it fits me perfectly 5’0″, 100 lbs. I have not washed the coat yet, but am hoping it holds up well. Love the pockets, too!

Attractive “coat”, fits well, quality workmanship, well functioning zipper, deep zippered pockets, adequate hood. I really like that the L.L. Bean emblem is NOT plastered on the upper front or sleeve of the item. There is a tiny emblem label on the very bottom edge. So far, I have experienced no pilling of or stretching out of the sweater fleece. I hope that lasts. All in all, this is a great look and nice jacket/coat alternative for spring/fall weather. Give it a try!

I think it’s very attractive and warm for cool nights in northern Michigan, where I will mainly be wearing it. I bought it because I had purchased a man’s vest for my husband that was made from the same fabric and he raves about it! I think it’s great quality and nice looking.

Just what I was looking for: a longer jacket for days when a sweater isn’t enough and a coat is too heavy. It covers my bottom and tunic tops; the sweater fleece has a more polished look than regular fleece. Not really fitted, kind of boxy, but that’s fine with me for a jacket. I’ve worn it several times and think it will be a favorite in spring and fall.
