This fleece jacket is well-constructed, of substantial weight, and will keep my grandson warm when he is outside in the South this winter. I got the 12-18 months size since he is about to be 12 months old. It will fit a little big on him in the beginning. Last year, I got from LLBean a fleece jacket and an insulated jacket for a toddler and they were/are both beautiful and were perfect to wear together on a trip to Oregon and sledding in the snow. Love the jackets.

Bought this coat again in the next size up! Great for fall, spring, warmer winter days. Both purchases I noticed the fleece sheds a lot. Maybe it’s the color I got (light purple). I just wash it upon buying and it takes the shedding away. Either way, I’d buy it again.
