Excellent! Water bottle pockets are convenient. Interior organizer pockets are about right. Nice and rugged construction throughout. I’d suggest two improvements. Make the shoulder straps contour and add a chest strap. Also, add a storm flap over the exterior pocket. Why not add storm flaps over the zippers on all packs?!

Great backpack used as small airline carryon. I’m 58 and didn’t want a huge bag. This fit under seat in front of me with a little room to spare. In laptop section I took a lightweight change of clothes. Water bottle pockets expand nicely to fit stainless bottle or umbrella. Nice interior pockets for passport, pens and more. We’ll organized! Roomy section left room for ereader, clear toiletry bag, pouch with non-liquid toiletries, and a small boxed lunch. It wasn’t overstuffed nor too heavy. My husband carried one also and loved it!

I like everything about the bag except the laptop sleeve is a little small I need to put my laptop in the main compartment but it’s a gaming laptop so not surprised.

Absolutely love this bag. I have several LLBean bags that I use for all different things. I carry this one everywhere because it is more streamlined and keeps things organized very well. Not too much space but not too little. It is very well made and the material should definitely hold up for many many years.

I purchased this book bag for my child at the beginning of her 8th grade year. She is now a junior in high school and the bookbag has no wear and tear other than some tearing on the mesh side-pockets where she carries her keys. Before, I had purchased multiple Jan Sport book bags that only ever lasted one school year. However, this book is phenomenal quality that will last forever! It had good carrying capacity and lots of useful pockets. My daughter carries her Macbook in the computer sleeves and it is always protected. She also keeps her calculator in the phone pocket and it fits perfectly. The material is easily washable and the inside is made of a sort of waterproof material that contains spills. The front pocket is also very spacious, unlike some other book bags we have had in the past. Purchase if you are looking for the best quality book bag for this price range. Wonderful product that I will likely never have to replace!
