I was fortunate enough to have gotten one of the first pairs of these before they were offered online or in print. I am a Bean Boot guy who owns several designs of the Bean Boots. I LOVE them all but these are the most comfortable version I now own. The BEST news is these are MADE IN THE USA.

I have had many, many pairs of Bean gum shoe/boots over many years. Lately I’ve had gum shoes that are wearing out the heel stitching way too fast. Seriously, you can’t find a tougher or stronger thread than you have now? Once the threads start breaking its a matter of time until the shoe falls apart. Today I sent a 4 maybe 5 month pair back because of the stitching problem and I barely use them. Yes I ordered a new pair because it’s LL Bean and made in America but cmon, find a stronger thread!!!!

I really like this qualifies made bean Gumshoe I had be wanting this boot since last year but unfortunately they were sold out so when I seen that they were back in stock I quickly ordered my pair so I’m thankful to have this quality made boot in my collection

The reason I rated it 4 stars instead of 5 is because you could purchase previous versions with insulation which is no longer available.Otherwise it’s still a great all around outdoor shoe.

This is my second pair. I use them for yard work and around hunting camp.
The first pair lasted 7+ years of heavy use.
I wear a 10.5 D in nearly all shoes, but in these I use the 9 Wide. They fit perfectly in length and width as long as I wear them with socks.
Bean’s sizing is consistent. The second pair fit just the same as the first pair

I tried these boots on, I walked around in L.L. Bean with them on, and I kept waiting. For what? So, after a period of one year passed, I bought them. To date, I have wore them twice. I could wear them all the time, but it does not rain all the time, the style just looks that good.
With a Leather & Rubber protector, a basic routing of care, these will last for My entire life.
These Boots are a Great Product with heavy duty stitching, thicker than normal leather, and an inspector with a eye for detail, the old saying “You get what You pay for”, immediately comes to mind.
NOTE: YOU WILL FIND THESE SHOES UNDER BEAN BOOT, not Gum Shoe, not Duck Shoe, and definitely not under Rain Boots

Great shoes for the bad weather days. I have already worn them a few times. I went up a half size and they are a bit big but work well with thick socks. Very comfortable.
