It’s a lovely color that goes with lots of things. Most importantly it comes out of the dryer ready to put on. A little lighter weight but perfect for layering.

Have to say, the fit, style and material was done so well. I have two and am wearing the red at this time. The chest and sweep are roomy but is tailored for work. Not oversized but is true to size without being fitted. Great job, L.L. Bean.

I am IN LOVE, with the fabric that this shirt (and the short sleeve version) are made from. Tercel is so nice to wear, in the wash, and the way it still looks good after all day on. Hoping LLBean continues with theirs blend and brings more in the future. Solids would REALLY be appreciated!!!!

I bought this, among 12 other things, to create a new travel wardrobe roughly 5 days before leaving the country. I have never purchased anything from LL Bean before so I was truly praying for a miracle when I ordered all these items. I was so shocked at how incredibly soft this shirt was. I have worn this shirt over and over and over again. It has quickly climbed to my favorite shirt in my wardrobe.

I ordered this shirt to see what the “feather-soft twill” is all about and was very pleased to find it is like wearing a cloud. As with most button-downs, I do wear an undershirt to ensure that there is no accidental peepage between the buttons in the bust area, but the shirt works well unbuttoned over a tank or buttoned up. I bought a Large, which sits well around the waist, loose enough to hide the love handles but not too wide, either.
It works well for a casual day out or light work. I don’t think the fabric is durable enough for rough work, but it’s not designed for that.

I love the fabric of this shirt so much that I wore out the one I bought when it was available in petite. Why is it only available in regular sizes now? I bought an XS regular which does not fit my petite frame well. The sleeves are too long, the wrists too wide, and the body baggy. Please resume making this shirt in petite sizes!

I do love this shirt. It is so soft and drapes so well! I usually wear a large but the medium in this shirt fits so well. It can be layered or worn alone as a shirt.

This shirt is exactly as described: lightweight twill fabric and generously sized. The color I ordered , a sort of sage color ( no longer available) made me look washed out and with the generous sizing, I looked rather lost in it, so I returned it. Perhaps sometime I’ll try it in a more vivid color. If a roomy, twill shirt is what you’re looking for, this will fit the bill.

Love this blouse. I wanted this color design and returned another top in the same pattern but the fabric was much less quality and feel. This blouse washes and dries perfectly. I’m so pleased with it.

Nice shirt… I think it’s the softest shirt I own. Dark color is better than it looks online. I would prefer an inch or two longer but that’s not a deal breaker. Shirt runs true to size, maybe a bit large so size down if you prefer a more fitted style. Sleeve length is good. Washed and dried without need to iron. I would like more color choices!
