Maybe somewhat large, but sizes vary. I love the style, and they’re comfortable, but I think will be too warm indoors, which is where I would mostly wear them

I loved them the minute I touched the soft leather, then the real fur trim( at least it feels real, and it’s so soft as weii) I really wanted them to fit. Now I noted they are true to size, and the left one is a true size 61/2. The right one is larger. the left would not be large enough for more than a mid or medium thickness sock. That is a problem in U.P winters. But these boots are warm, no need for heavy sock. I had a foot pad purchased for other boots, so one in rt foot solves the looser fit. LOVE THEM!

So interesting how everyone’s review is different. I hardly write reviews but because I love these boots I wanted to give my 2 cents. Especially after reading some other experiences. I did not need these boots. I have other waterproof boots that I use in the snow and heavy rain. But those are old and bulky. As soon as I saw these I fell in love with their appearance and how they looked so much more narrow than my bulky boots. The cinnamon color is beautiful and unique. I have no issues with the size, the fit, how to get them on, etc. they are so much easier to get in than my old boots that I’ve had for the last 25 years. Someone had an issue with the tongue. The tongue is supposed to be on the outside of the shoe. So no issues. I have worn these walking two days around NYC with no pain or blisters. They kept me cozy without making my feet sweat. They are unbelievably comfortable where I almost want to keep them on even when inside. They are roomy enough for thick socks but don’t slip when wearing thin socks. I don’t see a downfall yet. They are a bit more money than I usually spend so I guess that’s the one downfall. But I have no regrets.
Also, I typically have a wide foot and these only come in medium sizes. Fits perfect anyway. Even with my bunion toes.

I absolutely love these boots. True to description, they are very versatile, adaptable and temperature regulated. They are super stylish, but don’t let that fool you. Their comfort is unbeatable. I have gone on 10 mile walks in these shoes, and my feet didn’t ache once. Overall these boots are phenomenal and the perfect addition to anyone’s closet collection.

These fit as if my foot was personally measured. The rubber bottom is soft and walking feels like I am walking on a luxurious memory foam mat with each step. The shoe is perfect in temperature and inner fur is great for wearing with or without socks!

I tried these on in store and though my normal 8 felt too large so I ordered a 7.5. I ended up returning those for the 8. The furry lining is slippery and makes them feel bigger than they are.

I love wearing these boots. They are so comfortable. The removable insole meant that I didn’t have to buy a bigger size to fit my orthotics into the shoe. I wore them all winter and never had a problem keeping my feet warm with lightweight wool socks.

Love these boots for their comfort and stability. The “River Rock” color looks great with khakis or denim. Size 8 fits my 7.5 wide feet perfectly with room for wearing with wool socks. I replaced the removable insoles with SuperFeet high arch insoles for extra arch support.

These boots are cute, comfortable and warm! I work a few days a week indoors at a ski resort and wear wool socks with them. The tread is nice when outside on ice and snow, the laces are long enough and stay tied in a single knot. Only downsides for me are the leather is suede, so a spot is not coming out 🙁 and yes, they do take a minute to lace up. But at this price?! Great boot!!

The LLBean Day Venture Boots came a week before some snowy/icy weather that southern TN doesn’t typically receive; perfect timing to try my new boots out! Perfect! The reviews were helpful; I’m a true 7 yet in boots I typically order 1/2 size up; no need with these, they feel good with regular and thick socks. I wore on a short walk in snow & patchy ice; then wore to work bringing along a change of shoes for indoors. These were so comfy and warm I kept them on; as a licensed massage therapist I spend up to 6 hours on my feet, these felt great, lightweight enough too. So super please. I am a true size 7, medium width (typically I like a wider toe box yet these did NOT confine my toes). I highly recommend and expect them to last.
