The pants are constructed well with double seams and reinforced knee. The sizing, however, does not suit kids with a slim build as the inseam on the 5-6 is long enough but the inseam on the 4 is not. An adjustable waistband or a drawstring would have made these pants more versatile.

The pants in itself are fantastic. Our son has been wearing them for years. Unfortunately this year’s pants do not have the adjustable waist anymore, making the pants not wearable for skinny but tall boys. Very disappointed!

Well fitting, comfortable pants that don’t fall down. I was worried they’d be loose because my son is lean but they were perfect.

The pants look really nice, but they end up being completely unusable. They lack any way at all of keeping them up. There are no belt loops, and there is no adjustable elastic waistband like so many jeans for kids have. The small amount of waistband stretch doesn’t provide much flexibility in sizing. These pants were a big disappointment.

Great pants for hiking in colder weather. Waist is a little big for my slender children, but overall our most worn pants for Colorado vacations.

I’ll start with the disclaimer that my son struggles to keep weight on. Really nice pants, but returned them because they were large in the waist. Belt loops are helpful, if your kid is open to wearing a belt! Length was LL Bean perfect (long, we’re tall).
