This boot is very comfortable I wear them everyday to work (truck driver) and out on the weekends they truly do look better with age! these were given to me by my sister for Christmas and I can’t overstate how much I enjoy wearing them they feel very high quality with a better insole than any other boot I’ve ever worn this is my first ll bean product I’ve tried and I love it, on the outside they feel so soft yet durable and on the inside there isn’t a liner and for some reason that makes me like it more because it’s different and very comfortable I really like everything about this boot I wear these every season except winter, the vibram sole! the Goodyear welt! The more I learn about this boot the more there is to love, high quality boot!

I have a wide foot and it usually takes me a long time to break in a pair of boots. After a few weeks of wearing they feel completely broken in from heal to toe. I would buy again for sure. They feel well made and I believe they will last a long time.

I ordered these after seeing the Katahdin engineer boots are out of production.
Those were great boots, but so are these. Comfortable fit, rugged vibram sole, handsome distressed leather, great price point. Well done Bean.

Take a little time to break in, but good boots do. The look and feel is great. I think these are my favorites.

Love these boots. I get why the laces have to be so long-no big deal. With eyelets to the top, you would have to relace them constantly if they were shorter. These vibram soles don’t seem as hard and rigid. Feels great! Hope they last as long.

Runs big, usually wear a 12 but size 11 fit best. Took a while to break in the high ankle but other than that, it’s a great boot.

I got these in EE after Iron Rangers were too narrow. They’re such beautiful boots, the fit is great and they need minimal breaking in straight out of the box.

Although a Vibram sole, one can work a long day on hard surfaces.

Just received a couple of days ago. Initial thoughts, very comfortable, hardly any breaking in needed, light weight and really good looking boots. The leather feels great as well. If it will let me I’ll write a more complete review. But so far very content with the boots. Main use daily wear office/ warehouse/ weekends.

This my second pair of Bucksport Work Boots with cap toe. These are very comfortable boots. For waterproof boots they seem to remain cool. Are they truly waterproof? To some degree yes. I would not work in water all day with them though. Really like the removable inner soles. I have worn these daily for months. Really like theses boots.
Note: I did change change the flat laces to round laces, so much easier to unlace at the end of the day.

I bought this for my son who is a mechanic…he said they are perfect…..he even wore them fishing last weekend and said he can verify they are waterproof…lol…he wants another pair for Christmas.

8 years I’ve been wearing my bucksports to work from November to April.. I’m a builder. Since they were in good shape, but no tread was remaining, after 4 years I took them to a local cobbler and had new vibram lugs soles installed. I saw the new ones didn’t have the lace hooks so I figured I’d take them back to the cobbler and see if he would do a “service life extension” again. He could and did. I also had Bean boots for 20 years, getting them to sew new rubber on every few years.

Finest boots I’ve ever owned. I did not buy them as ‘work boots’, but rather as a ‘good-looking’ boot that I could wear casually during the fall, winter, and spring. The leather is amazing. The construction is top rate, the fit is perfect. I often get remarks and questions about these boots.
Probably one of the most satisfying on-line purchases I’ve made in a long time!

I’ve worn these every workday and many weekends over the past year. They are a superior value and wear better than similar, more expensive boots. I’m bummed that they are no longer available in my size! I’m off the get them resoled.

Bought these recently and they are very comfortable. The sizing seems to run big. I am an 11 or 11.5 in many other shoes, but had to get these in a 10.5. The information that comes with them, especially regarding the Vibram sole, states that they are a casual boot. The tag attached to the boots states the Vibram sole is a NewFlex sole which has a softer rubber designed for comfort. This means it will wear down faster than other soles with a harder rubber. Do not buy this expecting a work boot or hiking boot though, they are not made for that purpose. It’s a great casual “lifestyle” boot and is very comfortable.

Nice boots, good for everyday casual use. A bit more industrial looking than expected but they look nice when wearing them. For most LL Bean boots I have to order a size smaller than I usually wear, same for these. I already figured that when I bought them so they fit just fine ordering a smaller size.
