I am usually between M and L in LL Bean items, and have shorter arms but a long torso. I went with the petite L so I’d have room for a sweater underneath and it was the right choice. The overall length and arm length are both perfect. The tiniest bit of stretch makes this really easy wear. I find the style helps a very casual outfit look more put together. I’ve gotten a number of compliments on the color (deep olive). The ability to cinch the waist a bit adds nice shape to my figure, and the curved hem detail gives it just enough interest to make it special. Very pleased with this purchase!

I purchased a size Small in the Olive color. I loved everything about this jacket except the shoulders. My shoulders are a little broader than most women my size – 5’4″ approx 114 lbs. If I just only going to wear one top under the jacket, it would have been okay. But I have how many jackets that fit like that??? You get the idea. Anyway, love this jacket. It was a great fit for me everywhere else except the shoulders. Returned it. So sad!

This wonderful BeanFlex utility jacket is my now, favorite llbean item. With the weather it has been in Boston, I’m always grabbing it on the way out. If it rains the jacket keeps me dry.. Perfect weight for spring. I’d buy it if u can!!! A little steep at 107.00, but I wouldn’t wait for the price to go down, it would probably run out in ur size and color!!! In a plus size it still looks great on. Sized to ur particular measurements!!! Get it!!! Do yourself a pack on the back, for something u know u did well. SELF CARE, TAKING CARE OF NUMBER ONE!!! I CANT WAIT TILL YOU DO!!!!

Love it. I’m 5’7′ and 165 lbs and chose size Large. The dark grey color is deep and goes with everything. It’s a great fit with a slight stretch to the fabric. There is room for a sweater layer, if needed, but doesn’t seem too roomy over a t-shirt. I’m sure this will work well through three seasons in the mid-atlantic state where I live.

This jacket is exactly what I was looking for…light weight for cooler summer evenings without looking like a rain parka. The sleeves were a tad long, but that could just be I have short arms. The cuffs flip up nicely, however, and look nice, so no problem really.

This is a classy jacket! The style and shape are very flattering. You can tighten the waist area if you want it to be more form fitting or loosen it if you have a sweater on underneath.The fabric is of a weightier canvas that keeps its shape but soft enough for a comfortable feeling. The green is a great color and looks nice with jeans or dressy enough with slacks. It’s a great addition to my wardrobe. It is true to size, I ordered a medium which fits my 5’5 height and 140lbs.body.
