I bought the Soapstone, which to me looked like a creamy white online. In reality, it is a light beige that looks like a white that has been worn a lot and now looks dirty. I plan to exchange for another color. Aside from the color, I LOVE this fleece. It’s warm but not heavy in terms of weight/bulk. Easy to throw on over other layers. Fits me comfortably in terms of size and cut. The neck is extra cozy in the wind. I love that the style is on-trend but classic. This is going to be one of my most-worn clothing items. Equally good for outdoor wear and wearing indoors on a chilly evening. Feels well-made.

I bought the jacket in black in a size large, my regular size in all LL Bean jackets and tops. It fits nicely. I read a few criticisms of the lining in the reviews. I have worn the jacket for a couple of weeks and I hadn’t even noticed that the sleeves are lined with a different fabric from the body. I think I understand why they did that. My guess is the sleeves are lined with a slippery fabric for easy on and off over layers and the body is lined with a knit for coziness. So here is where the black version falls short. They edged the sleeves and front edges with navy blue trim. I am guessing that was a money saving choice as they offer the jacket in a dark blue color too. It’s always more economical for the manufacturer to buy a larger quantity of materials in the same color rather than smaller quantities in different colors. I think for $99 I can expect the trim to match the fleece. Now whenever I look at my jacket I can’t stop noticing how cheap it looks. Too bad. It was so close to perfect. The sherpa fleece has held up well so far and shows no signs of matting or pilling. I haven’t decided if I’ll keep it. I guess it will depend on whether or not I can get used to the black and navy combo. As you can see in the photo, the sleeves are cuffed about an inch. I am 5’4″ and the sleeves are a little bit long for me. That is almost always the case with my fleece jackets so I’m used to it.

I love LLBean. Flannel or fleece is generally of good quality and substantial! I am 5’3, approximately 125-127 lbs, and wear a women’s size 8. In Bean, I buy a Small and did so with this fleece jacket, and the fit is fine. I agree with a couple of other reviews, that the inside lining is a comfortable knit, but the lining in the sleeves is different than the bodice; lining is nylon (like a parka jacket) and cold when you put your arms in. Other than that oddity, I love it!

LOVE this coat! When I sent the link to my best friend for her opinion on what color I should get, she decided to order it for herself too. It’s nicely lined with a high collar, so it’s warmer than a typical fleece, and stylish/goes with any outfit. I get so many compliments.

I spent a long time looking for just the right jacket for winter. Recently retired, winters are warmer and I’ve lost some weight. All factors requiring a new winter jacket. This jacket is perfect for what I wanted. Not too heavy, perfect for temps in the 40s. Not too long or bulky, so tired of the tunic length, wanted something shorter. This fits in my usual medium, allows a lightweight sweater or flannel underneath comfortably. I am 5’5″, 150 lbs with athletic build. I have the black, which has a grey/blue trim which goes great with jeans. Love it!

It’s really comfortable and warm totally recommend

I don’t want winter to end because that means I can’t wear this anymore! This fleece is so comfortable, and I love that I can wear it out casually, on a hike, or as loungewear at home. I’m big into green these days, and this color is perfect! I highly recommend it.

I love this jacket! I’ve gotten so many compliments. The color is neutral/versatile but fun (I got the gold), the pockets are a good size and angled so your stuff doesn’t fall out, lining blocks out wind, high collar is cozy the only slight thing is that it shows wrinkles/folds in the sleeves, but it’s not a big deal and might only be noticeable when the jacket is hung. I have a short torso and 32G bust and the medium petite fits great.

Love this fleece jacket, definitely heavier than I’d wear around the house, the inside of the sleeves is slippery but I realized that’s so whatever I’m wearing under it doesn’t end up with bunched arms. Love this for a casual but warm jacket out, perfect length!

Its comfy, keeps me warm and the warm color matches with my highlighted hair very well! Received compliments from friends and strangers 😉

This jacket works great on cold mornings where I live (Florida). Proportions are just right on me.

Love this Sherpa Jacket. It fits well and is so cozy. Bought a small and it is perfect

Love this jacket! For reference I’m 5’11” and 155lbs and got a Large! It has a somewhat boxy fix so if you’re looking for a form fitting this may not be the jacket for you. I’ve gotten so many compliments on it! It’s a great layering piece and very cozy! I may order more colors!

This is much warmer than I expected. It might be as warm as my winter jacket. Also good in the wind.

It’s perfect. I’m 5’8″ and 150lbs. Size small fits great with a little room. Versatile and high quality. Definitely recommend!

LOVE this fleece! It’s so warm and very cute. The only thing to be aware of is that it’s pretty oversized. I ordered a medium and had to exchange for a small (i’m typically a medium in everything), and there is still room for a sweatshirt underneath. It’s also a little boxy and is slightly cropped but I like that fit so it’s great for me.

By fair the warmest sweater i ever had. On a really cold morning this is enough for me to walk to the car and stay warm.

I love this jacket. I just was able to wear it this week, as I live in central Texas and we had “pre-summer” as soon as I received it. But it is a perfect jacket for walking the dog first thing when temp is 46 degrees. It is well made, the lining is perfect, all the pieces (ie sleeves) fit appropriately with the body of the jacket. I got the green color, it is beautiful. I got the XL in case I want to wear a puffy vest under, next one will be a large. I will get another in the fall. I love, love, love this jacket.

Have been coveting this jacket – got it on sale and I love it. It is lined, warm and comfortable.
Blarney –
This jacket looks yummy and fits great! The weather here is so fickle right now, that I haven’t used it yet, but I will.

Color is beautiful, fit is perfect….just the right warmth

LL Bean nailed this one – one of my favorite purchases. This fleece is substantial, I’ve been wearing it almost daily in 45-55 degree PNW weather. The snaps are great – function similar to a two-way zipper, allowing me to regulate airflow from the top and bottom. The interior lining eliminates the drag of fleece over my sub-layers. Color is faboo and have received many compliments on it.
Size: I’m proportionately short/curvy. 5’2″, 150 lbs. I typically order petite large tops, but skipped the petite portion on this one due to other reviews starting it was boxy/short. The arms hit at my first knuckle, length hits just below my hipbone. It isn’t boxy.
