The construction is fabulous. BUT THE SHAFT IS TOO SHORT, the sizing is odd :((. For such an expensive boot, I would like a longer shaft and proper sizing .

I bought both this and the 7″ lounge boot. I returned this pair. I like the shorter shaft length of the lounge boot, plus the engineer boots I bought were tighter on the right leg. They are both buckle pull on style; I don’t need two pairs, so I returned the engineer boot. But the dark brown leather is handsome, though!

Very comfortable and easy to slip on. Perfect for a quick trip to the mailbox when don’t want to tie boot laces. High enough to keep out the snow.

Received these boots, and was shocked by the poor quality and fit, for the high price.
Carol –
Unfortunately the boots were too large/wide for my feet.
Booot –
Great boot just like the original.
Can’t believe these cost twice as much for flannel lining and a buckle.

I really wanted to love these boots, however, they just don’t fit right. They are incredibly loose in the heel which makes walking pretty difficult and uncomfortable. I even tried these boots with thicker socks, hoping that would solve the problem… it did not. Sadly, I will be returning them.

I’m so bummed – this boot is so stylish but it has such an awkward fit. My foot was swimming in the size 8, I returned for a size 7, and it was too small but my heel was slipping, the strangest fit of any shoe. Had to also return the size 7. I really did my best to make it work since it’s so cute, and I’m still without boots. :0(

Wonderful boots! More comfortable than I expected, easy style. My new favorite boots. Worth every penny.

So cute! Nice materials, good sizing & I love a slightly slouchy fit in triple black! But they had to go back due to the very pokey 90 degree seams inside. Sadly unwearable & could have been perfect with a finer, possibly french seam. The hunt continues

My typical size is 7.5, sometimes 7, sometimes 8. Bean boots tend to run a size large and I have two other duck boot style bean boots in a 6 that fit well. These pinched my toes in a 6. I tried a 7 and they felt better in the toes but too clunky overall and my heel slipped. 6.5 might’ve been perfect but I don’t think these come in half sizes. Easy on and off and I appreciate the buckle details. Just not a great fit for me. May keep for quick trips to take the dog out in New England weather. Love that the price was more affordable at Zappos than on the LL Bean site.
